Welcome Message by Advanced High School
(Mantua,the 2011, January 3rd)
-
It is with such an immense satisfaction, after a year, that we are so pleased to present the second edition of the International Congress of the High School of Science in Criminology - CRINVE 2011 entitled "The Community Victim. Land and Security ".
The annual meeting of the High School, is not only an event of institutional representation, but rather a demonstration of a strong willing and scientific vocation, expressed by the School -FDE Institute- and its network of international and national partners, planning and developping projects within forensic and investigative forensics ways.
FDE Institute, located in Mantua, within its main local partner, the Association LIBRA - Network for Study and Development of Dynamics' Mediation, 11th to 13th March 2011, will be destination of many scholars and experts which will find out in the Congress important moments to debate and discuss on topics reguarding the Victimology area.
It is not a coincidence that the Scientific Committee of the School has decided to consider, as a topic key, the victim itself.
In fact, thanks to the fruitful cooperation with LIBRA and various other international institutions and departments, among which international INTERVICT - The International Victimology Institute, University of Tilburg and WSV - World Society of Victimology, FDE has been able to plan, design and start experimenting with the "Support Center for Victims of Crime - Pilot Project of Mantua", the "Protected Child's Hearing Room, with, also, the aim to operationalize the "Forensic Investigations and Consulting Lab- SAI LAB.
CRINVE 2011, unlikely last year, is an event primarily aimed to people, and will be delighted to involve them into discussion and comparison of the phenomena related to security, the problem of crime. What's more, showing that the victim receives a so little support in terms of moral one, economic and legal. A broadening of this popular conference, no longer constrained to a purely technical-scientific audience, finds its justification into social research that should be pursued throughout the creation and development of a welfare and safety systems, affecting the population of a country also taking into consideration the evidence produced by the rigorous studies conducted in that area.
With the hope that this event can be taken as a call to get involved into the scientific community and not just as a pulse and confirmation of the hard work and proactive of our institute.
We are so glad to thank you in advance for the kind attention.
