Welcome message by CRINVE 2010 scientific director

It is with great pleasure that we present the International Congress of High School  in Criminological and Investigative Sciences - CRINVE 2010 Mantua is also the city of headquarter of the FDE Institute.
The idea to organize in this city, capital of the Virgil’s Lands and place of unquestioned culture and historical traditions, is found on the belief that this places could really become a scientific epicenter for Italian and international scientists, necessary to develop many studies on investigative and criminological analysis and where founding cohesion of purposes recognized by all the scientific community.
The arduous and complex aim, that we purpose with the International Congress CRINVE 2010, is put together opinions and methodological approaches by scientific researchers on crime analysis. We would like to set our studies, our training and our consultancy with a scientific approach, absolutely not based on media  enthusiasms.
During the CRINVE 2010, will be given great space both in the classical themes of major impact for the professional forensic context, and to innovative topics of immense interest for their scientific, professional and social intents. There will be also discussion on the need to return to the classical methods of investigation, that must become a properly tool for analysis of relations pre and post criminal  event.
On the scientific program we will be some of the major contributions from the most reliable experts from the international community. They will talk investigative psychologists, forensic psychiatrists, criminologists, criminalists, victimologists and so on.  The sessions will be opened with an important discussion on a purpose of reform of Italian penal procedural code. At this roundtable will participate some honorable members of the Italian Parliament with experts and jurists.
Hoping that this event could really become a moment of condivision of objectives, of resorces and methods, we thank you in advance for the consideration that will be kind.
